Accept God's perfect plan to experience a new life of abiding in His Word:

Acknowledge you are a sinner and you are without Jesus Christ and therefore can do nothing (John 15:4-5).

Believe in your heart (this is not just knowing) that God loves you so very much that He sent his only begotten Son, Jesus Christ that if you would believe in Him you would not perish, but have eternal life. (John 3:16). Believe that Jesus came and died for your sins and that He was buried, and that He was raised from the dead on the third day and is now in Heaven at the right hand of God (Romans 5:8; 1 Corinthians 15:3-4; Ephesians 1:20).

Confess with your own mouth to make Jesus your Lord and believe in your heart that God sent Him to die for your sins and raised Him from the dead and you will be saved.
(Romans 10:9).

Devote yourself to walk in the manner Jesus walked
(1 John 2:6), thus you will be abiding in the Word.

If you would like to accept God's perfect plan for you to abide in Him and He in you, pray a prayer similar to this:

God, I know that I am a sinner and that I need Your forgiveness. I believe that Jesus Christ died in my place to pay the penalty for my sin and that he rose from the dead. I now invite Jesus Christ into my life as my Lord and Savior. Help me to be devoted to walk in the manner Jesus walked in every area of my life. Thank You. Amen!
